
Junior AV Technician - UK Wide
We are looking for keen Junior AV Technicians to join our fast-paced team and work with the latest AV technology.
The ideal candidate will have a flexible can-do attitude, outstanding client facing skills and the desire to travel across the UK to help us deliver exceptional client service.
You will also possess the passion and ability to engage with the most current technology.
Role and Responsibilities
Travelling across the UK, you will deliver, install and de-rig the latest AV technology and will have the opportunity to work on varied projects.
You will:
- Prepare equipment ready for use on jobs, or to go on hires
- Install products onsite under direction of project managers/ other team members
- Perform basic repairs on equipment, soldering, drilling, replacement of parts and the manufacturing of cables
- Assist with keeping all PAT testing up to date with company requirements and standards
Hours of Work
A minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Overtime will be required as necessitated by the needs of the business which will include early mornings, late evenings and weekends. The ability to facilitate this is key, as the needs of the business are paramount.
Qualifications and pre-requisites
- Experience in the exhibition and events industry.
- An interest in technology and a willingness to learn.
- Ability and willingness to travel as required.
- An outstanding team player.
- Good communication skills.
- A flexible, adaptable approach in terms of working hours.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- A positive minded self-starter who is able to use initiative.
- A full clean driving licence.
- Knowledge of Current RMS useful, not essential.
