Health and Safety
At JPSL we take health and safety very seriously. We treat the safety of both the public and our crews as of paramount importance. With this in mind JPSL always aims to have a first aid trained person on site. Although this person is there we hope their services will never be required. We ensure all our crew members hold valid and up to date training and certification relevant to the work being completed. This includes powered access, access towers, ladders, work at height, electrics and rigging. We understand that assessing and reducing risk in the working environment is of high importance, but where high risk work is unavoidable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided and used.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and its use
Many workplace injuries and fatalities are avoidable with the proper use of suitable equipment and clothing. This is why you will find JPSL's crews carrying PPE relevant to their role. Taking pride in the safety of our crew members, we strive to ensure all our crews wear the correct safety clothing and use equipment in the correct manner. You can expect our crews to be appropriately attired and carrying basic PPE.
Working at height in events is unavoidable, however managing the issue is something we do as a matter of course. Ensuring we comply with the HSE Work at Height Regulations 2005 and by having suitably trained crew guarantee we avoid unnecessary incidents.
