JPSL Technical Services' Enviromental Policy
The Company will conduct its business in such a way as to prevent pollution, to minimise as far as is appropriate the adverse impact on the environment of its activities, to continually improve its performance against targets associated with its environmental performance and to comply with all applicable environmental legislation.
In its role as an events services company, JPSL has identified the following as significant environmental aspects which have an impact on the environment:
Energy consumption, emissions to air, use of resources, waste to landfill and the environmental impacts of suppliers.
The events industry by its temporary nature is quite wasteful, however we aim to minimise our enviromental impact by conducting our business with this in mind.
In conducting its business the company will
- Reduce waste produced in all areas of the business
- Minimise or eliminate any harmful emissions, such as unnecessary use of vehicles
- Use electronic communication services where possible to avoid travel and paper wastage
- Minimise the use of materials, supplies and energy used in the course of its business
- Wherever possible use renewable and recyclable materials and components
- Include its suppliers and other third parties in the implementation of its enviromental strategy
